First off I
would like to give credit where credit is due
and thank those who have had a hand in my
path to recovery.
- To my
late wife, who stood with me in the
first days of my adult life, I give a
prayer of thanks, and bright
blessings my angel.
- To
Cheryl, without whom I would not have
returned to AA to begin with. Of all
those who I have known and loved, I
am the most grateful to you. You were
and always will be my close and dear
friend. Be at peace Dear-heart;
remember only the good times we had.
- To John
for being my sponsor and friend while
in Montreal and showing me by example
how to stay sober and live life on
life's terms.
- To the
members of Steps to Sobriety and my
home group Sobriety with Variety, for
your experience strength and hope, I
am most grateful. With out all of you
I would not have a peace with life as
I do now.
- To the
online support group ST1, whose
members were my extended family in
the times of trouble I give you all
thanks.
- But today
I am most of all thankful for the
path that lead my love to me. She is
my inspiration and my joy. Her
devotion and love shows me without
question that life is worth living,
and living sober.

recovery and also for their aid in this page,
but I would not be able to put all the names
here as there would not be enough room. The

I have tried
as much as possible to credit the stories and
other writings to their authors. As some of
the writings came to me unsigned and the list
of authors was lost in a computer crash I
must say thank you to all the unknown authors
who made their works available to guide
myself and others in their life path. If you
see something you have written or know who
the author is send an email with the title
and author's name and I will update the page
to give that person the credit they so richly
